Cuvée Prestige 2010 - White Grand Vin De Bordeaux - Appellation: Graves-de-Vayres - Grape: 88% Semillon, 9% Sauvignon Blanc 3 % Muscadelle Production: 500 cases - --------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Wine - The wine is fermented at cold temperatures in a mix of used and new barrels and is aged on its lees until May when it is racked into tank and bottled. The wine shows restrained melon, citrus and fig notes with a kiss of wood and a mineral underpinning. An over-performing White Graves look-alike for about a third or half the price! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Producer - Founded in 1870, Château Cantelaudette, a small estate of 28 hectares is located in the appellation of Graves-de-vayres, beetween the Garonne and the Dordogne river in Bordeaux area. Today, third generation wines producer, Jean Michel Chatelier is Producing serious wines with great complexity.
