Clos La Coutade 2009 Cahors Red
The blend is 70% Malbec (known locally as Cot), the traditional grape of the region, blended with 15% Merlot which gives finesse and bouquet, and 15% Tannat which gives it its aging potential. A well-contructed wine with astonishing elegance and red fruit with spicy overtones. This wine accompanies duck, red meat and tasty cheeses perfectly.
